Yes it reminds me of the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin - all the blocks and shadows. It's amazing how such a simple thing can evoke so many feelings. :)

I really like this. Did you shoot it in Camera Raw? Great job maintaining the detail in the shadows and not completely blowing out the highlights! This is a fantastic composition, the shadow could have led you right out of the pic but the small bit of dried up grass anchors the corner. I think this was not as effortless as it looks! GREAT JOB!

Hi Wendy! I always enjoy your insightful comments on my pictures. I really do appreciate it. As to your question I did shoot in RAW, turned it b&w, and added just a pinch of yellow to the photograph and this is the result. You would of laughed at how many shots I took trying to get the right composition. Anyway, thank you for all your kind words and the :+fav:.
